The Manos de Dios Anglican Catholic Episcopal Church, initially called the Manos de Dios Community, was born in 1990 with the purpose of strengthening the Faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ, as a Prayer Group: The Church at Home, bringing the Word of God to homes , through the study of the Holy Scriptures.

The need to help man find himself and find God within him, increasingly strengthened the Church, leading it to its growth and consolidation in love and respect for all the Doctrines and teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Manos de Dios Episcopal Church teaches its Parishioners the path of a true transformation of life for the service of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the experience of an authentic spiritual life and the development and strengthening of a true faith.

Our Church achieves its recognition under Law 134 of 1993, of the Republic of Colombia and with the special Legal Status 272 of March 1, 2002, issued by the Ministry of the Interior and Justice of our country. Likewise, it has the Public Registry corresponding to religious entities, in accordance with Article 19 of the Political Constitution of Colombia and it is a fully recognized religious entity according to Article 18 on the Declaration of Human Rights.

On October 6, 2016, our Church obtained, from the Colombian Ministry of the Interior, authorization to change the name of the Manos de Dios Community to the Manos de Dios Anglican Catholic Episcopal Church.
